Windows Kernel Researcher
Description
The Windows Kernel Researcher is responsible for discovering, evaluating and exploiting vulnerabilities in the kernel of the Windows operating system. Candidates should have experience in reversing windows kernel and fuzzing for vulnerabilities, writing exploits and bypassing modern mitigation. We are looking for senior researchers with multiple years of professional VR experience in relevant areas, however exceptions are considered for outstanding candidates.

Required Skills
- Ability to dissect, understand, analyze and reason about complex software
- Deep understanding of Windows kernel components, system principles, attack surfaces and security systems
- Experience with reversing native code bases and a deep knowledge of the relevant vulnerability types
- Experience in vulnerability finding and exploit development in kernel context
- Basic programming skills (C, python, x86/x86_64 assembly)
- Familiarity with the Windows platform, architecture and operating system design
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in Windows kernel
- Experience in the engineering of robust, reliable exploits
- Deep understanding of complex kernel subsystems (memory management, networking, file systems, etc.)
- Familiarity with modern exploit mitigation techniques (KCFG, KASLR, HVCI, ...)
- Fuzzing, instrumenting and dynamic testing kernel components
